Wesley Johnston is the head of operations at Sensmi. As the head of operations, he is centred on being driven, passionate, never missing a deadline, and his focus relies on task orientation being finished not time. Additionally, he has been working at Moving Tactics South Africa for almost two decades which made him quite knowledgeable in technical terms.

Armed with a Marketing and Business Management Degree, Wesley has been involved with a large Digital Signage company for 20 years. Moving Tactics operates in Middle East and Africa and boasts top global clients such as Puma and McDonalds to name a few, and manages over 15 000 endpoints. Using that experience, and finding a real need in the Market, Wesley co-founded Sensmi. Sensmi is an agnostic data aggregation platform that can pull in data from many sources, such as: CMS, IOT, POS, Cameras, API's etc; allowing aggregation of data across multiple platforms. This allows for 'closing the loop' in digital retail and showing actual feedback on ROI and allowing retailers to adjust strategies based on hard data.

The next step in Sensmi's Journey is feeding that data into AI to allow for quick real time decisions to occur on the fly. Allowing immersive and relevant experiences to the shopper.
